The Con Men
This 2 minute clip is an Super 8 mm silent video of "The Con Men" at their first gig in 1965. This was in the bar at the Hollywood Bowling Lanes near the intersection of Pembroke Road & Dixie Highway. Bruce Schacher is playing a black Stiles guitar, Ronnie Torisk is on drums, Kenny Meany is the lead singer and David Hardy is playing the red Gibson SG Special. Ronnie's father, Tony James (his stage name) introduced the band.
Kenny is not shown during some of the performance video because the band was doing an instrumental (Wipe Out). Rob Fruge, shown wearing a white shirt and dark rimmed glasses was one of the band's managers.
